Gerard (Jerry) St-Cyr, CLTC, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as a Wealth Advisor since 2015. With a solid foundation at New York Life Insurance Company starting in 2020 and before that five years as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley, Jerry has honed his skills in financial, retirement, and legacy planning and wealth accumulation strategies tailored to individuals, families, and businesses.
Before venturing into the financial sector, Jerry distinguished himself as a versatile global business leader with executive-level proficiency in sales management, marketing, business development, and corporate negotiation across diverse markets in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
Jerry's practice centers on retirement, financial, and legacy planning, with expertise in 401 (k) and Defined Benefit plans. His clientele encompasses a wide spectrum, including women, businesses, healthcare and law professionals, religious organizations, and affluent individuals and families.
With substantial experience, Jerry excels in crafting investment portfolios, annuity strategies, and insurance plans, including Life, Long-Term Care, and Individual Disability coverage. He specializes in delivering tax-efficient solutions tailored to his clients' financial goals.
As a native of Montreal, Jerry is not only fluent in English and French, but he also has a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. He has conversational proficiency in Spanish and a working knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Melayu. This linguistic versatility allows him to connect with clients from different backgrounds and ensure that they feel understood and catered to.
Jerry earned his bachelor’s degree in commerce with a major in Marketing from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He furthered his education with coursework in Strategic Negotiations at Harvard, the Executive Development Program at the Wharton School of Business, International Project Management at IMD Business School in Switzerland, and Finance and Leadership at the Singapore Institute of Management.
In addition to his professional achievements, Jerry is an accomplished author, having penned two books: "My Wine Guide (made simple)" in 2015 and "WOMANITY! A Tribute to Women" in 2024, both published by Mount-Royal Publishing.
