Our Planning Process

We believe having a guide through the financial planning1 process is better than trying to do it alone. Just as they would rely on their GPS to navigate the roads of life, our clients count on us as their financial navigators to help see them through the pitfalls and traffic jams of their financial lives.

First, we have an initial meeting with clients where we discuss their financial goals. After we agree to work together, we gather all data relevant to their current financial situation. Once we have collected the data, our team will spend time analyzing it and deciphering which strategies would be most useful in achieving their goals. We present these strategies to our clients, and once they choose the method they feel most comfortable with, we implement those strategies.

Just as a GPS is still available for use after a destination has been reached, we stay with our clients throughout their journey and will review and monitor any financial plans they have in place, on a periodic basis.

Step 1: Understanding the Client's Personal and Financial Circumstances

Every great plan starts with listening. We take the time to learn about your career, family, assets, debts, lifestyle, and future aspirations. This step is about more than just numbers; it’s about uncovering what matters most to you so we can build a plan that reflects your values and vision.

Step 2: Identifying and Selecting Goals

Together, we’ll define what financial success looks like for you. Do you want to retire comfortably, send your children to college debt-free, buy a vacation home, or leave a legacy? We help you organize and prioritize your goals so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

Step 3: Anayzing the Cleint's Current Course of Action and Potential Alternative Course(s) of Action

Once your goals are clear, we assess your current financial position to see how well it aligns with your future objectives. We’ll highlight strengths in your approach, identify gaps, and explore alternative strategies that may improve your outcomes. This analysis gives you a true picture of where you stand and where adjustments may be needed.

Step 4: Developing the Financial Planning Recommendation(s)

With your goals and situation in mind, we create tailored recommendations designed to help you succeed. From investment strategies and insurance coverage to retirement planning and tax-efficient solutions, every recommendation is carefully crafted to maximize your potential for long-term success.

Step 5: Presenting the Financial Planning Recommendation(s)

We don’t just hand you a plan — we walk you through it. Using clear explanations, visuals, and projections, we make sure you understand how each recommendation supports your goals. This collaborative approach ensures that your plan feels like your own personalized roadmap to financial freedom.

Step 6: Implementing the Financial Planning Recommendation(s)

Putting your plan into action is where progress begins. We guide you through every step of implementation, coordinating with other professionals (attorneys, accountants, insurers) where needed. Our role is to simplify the process, remove barriers, and ensure your strategies are effectively carried out.

Step 7: Monitoring Progress and Updating
